Swet Shop Boys is a transatlantic hip hop group featuring Heems (ex-Das Racist), Riz MC (Riz Ahmed, who was a key actor in Star Wars Rogue One movie) and British producer Redinho. After providing a soundtrack to dissent with debut LP Cashmere, Swet Shop Boys are back with their Record Store Day 2017 release Sufi La. The EP of all new material leaves the political to focus on the party. 'Thas My Girl' sounds like Sugar Hill Gang inspired by Brandy and Monica's 'The Boy Is Mine' while 'Birding' is an ode to the Mughal pastime of birdwatching.
