How It Works

  • Bring your collection in anytime we’re open (10 AM – 9 PM daily). No appointment is necessary, just head to the Used Buys section of the counter.

  • Our staff carefully evaluates each item based on condition and sales history.

  • We’ll make you a fair offer on what we can sell and return anything we’re unable to use.

  • You can wait in the store or leave us your name and cell number—we’ll call you when your offer is ready.

👉 Please note: you’ll need a valid photo ID to complete the transaction, and we ask that you pick up any items we don’t buy the same day due to limited space.

Cash or Trade – Your Choice

We give you the option of cash or store credit for your items:

  • Cash/Check – Take home money the same day (large offers may be paid by check).

  • Trade Credit Bonus – Get 10% more plus sales tax credit when you choose store credit. That means your trade-in value goes nearly 20% further toward new music, movies, or merch.

Large Collection? We’ll Come to You!

Have a big collection you’re ready to sell? For large buys (1,000+ records or more), Waterloo can come to you in our van. We regularly make house calls across Austin and beyond to evaluate and purchase large collections on-site.
