Songs of Soundlessness is another rare demonstration of original spiritual jazz from Tisziji Munoz and John ‘Lam Sobo’ Medeski. Lam Sobo, once again, offers stunning, creative and inspired performances in this most challenging yet rewarding mode of jazz. Different to this project is the presence of Tisziji’s compositions. On drums, Bob ‘Rakalm’ Moses is authoritative, playful, always danceable and omnidirectional, producing the correct deep-heart-ground for this journey to peace.
