In 1993 River Guerguerian left a successful music career in search of deeper meaning to his life. Spending 5 years in the HImalayas, he studied with traditional healers and developed methods for inducing states of healing and meditation using the unique vibrational qualities of Tibetan singing bowls. For this lush ambient recording, River combines the resonant tones of Tibetan bowls, acoustic bass, cello, electric guitar, and water gongs to slowly reveal to you unfolding layers of consciousness and the peaceful bliss of deeply meditative states.
