Denny Freeman guitarist for Bob Dylan from 2005-2009 and featured on Modern Times has recorded an album of Bob Dylan songs done as instrumentals. The 16 songs range from the early the Times They Are A-Changin' Masters of War to more recent Spirit on the Water. The songs use excellent players such as Elana James on violin and Jon Blondell on trombone and two sets of drummers and bassists. Freeman plays guitars keys and harmonica. This collection demonstrates the musical/ melodic aspects of many wonderful songs in the Dylan catalog performed by a musician who knows them intimately.
