Monomania is the fifth album by Deerhunter, the Atlanta, GA psych-tinged alt. rock act who found critical acclaim with their 2010 release, Halcyon Digest. Named for frontman Bradford Cox's self-confessed, unfaltering focus on the creation of music -- which borders on obsession -- the album was recorded in the band's favorite Brooklyn studio, the Rare Book Room.
