During the summer of 1962, the Czech Philharmonic and it's conductor Karel Ancerl took part in the Montreux Festival and gave several concerts which, luckily, were recorded by Radio Suisse Romande. With this Tahra release, listeners can finally enjoy two previously unissued recordings by the great conductor. Featured works include Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with Nathan Milstein and Dvorak's magnificent Stabat Mater.
