It's the new thing! It's garage jazz! Inspired by the ferocious bands of Albert Ayler and Peter Brotzmann, the Thing make what can only be described as a very special noise. The Thing are Mats Gustafsson (Sweden) reeds, Ingebrigt H. Flaten (Norway) bass & Paal Nilsson-Love (Norway) drums. Garage contains powerful versions and interpretations of Sonic's classic 'Have Love Will Travel', as well as more modern stuff like White Stripe's 'Aluminum' and Yeah Yeah Yeahs 'Artstar'.
