The Strokes bassist Nikolai Fraiture takes a turn as front man for the ''underground supergroup'' (NME) Summer Moon. The single ''With You Tonight'' triggered so much excitement and buzz that it was eventually chosen as track of the week by the NME and was featured as the soundtrack for Alexa Chung's collaboration with AG Jeans. Fraiture was joined by Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) on drums, Camila Grey (Uh Huh Her) on keys/vocals, and Noah Harmon (The Airborne Toxic Event) on guitar, when the band played a series of live shows in Los Angeles this past fall to mark the single's release. Summer Moon has already managed to notch up acclaimed performances in Fraiture's native NYC, as well as playing showcases at SXSW, and opening for Father John Misty at the prestigious Summerstage Festival in Central Park. They recently filmed a performance for NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly and released their first video for ''With You Tonight,'' which was shot as 360 VR video.
