"Burn & Shine" is the debut studio album from the South Austin Moonlighters. Leave it to the fertile musical soil of Austin,TX to sprout a group of four very different musicians with mountains of experience between them on stages, tours and recording studios and have it blossom into a new and exotic blend of styles and sounds. The South Austin Moonlighters were created during SXSW 2011 out of a mutual admiration of each others groups. Coming from such diverse acts as the Mother Truckers, Monte Montgomery, Gigolo Aunts and Fastball, you would expect a patchwork collection of unrelated songs. But, this album will surprise you. Something truly unique has grown out of the obvious love for music that these four guys are sharing.
