I Origins is the 2014 sci-fi film by writer/director Mike Cahill ("Another Earth") which tells the story of a molecular biologist (Michael Pitt) and his laboratory partner (Brit Marling) who uncover evidence that may fundamentally change society as we know it. The film features a beautiful electronica score composed by Will Bates and Phil Mossman (who had produced the score for "Another Earth") and the songs "Motion Picture Soundtrack" by Radiohead and "Dust It Off" performed by the Do.
