Sole, known as one of the godfathers of abstract hip hop and founding member of the Anticon label, has recorded one of his most ambitious yet accessible albums to date with 2009's PLASTIQUE. Backed by the Sky rider Band, Sole's brand of wit packed, radical and dense lyricism is perfectly accompanied by the Sky rider Band's subtle, layered post-rock-hop compositions.
