Carter Burwell’s intimate Academy Award-nominated score for Todd Haynes 2015 romantic drama film Carol, makes its 12” vinyl debut. Reflecting the film’s 1950’s setting, Burwell’s score brings together the main elements of the movie using a jazz-influenced chamber ensemble. Staring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, Carol is the story of a forbidden affair between an aspiring photographer and older woman going through a divorce.
