With a skill that sets him apart from his peers, Oriol connects the dots between the '70s-era fusions of Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder, the Chicago house of Larry Heard, Drum 'n' Bass and Dubstep. Fusing electronics and synth funk together into something joyful and fresh, he is deeply indebted to older styles but still sounds bang up to date.
