Seven inch vinyl pressing. Sleepers Recordz brings a heavy slab on funk on "Blow Your Mind"/"Virgin Lion," a collaboration between Finland-based Olli and Italy's Ivan Makvel. "Blow Your Mind" is a straight-ahead synth-funk slap, driven by frenetic bass movement as Makvel slides back & forth between talkbox and his own vocals. The b-side, "Virgin Lion," is a more-stripped down funky expedition, with amazing contrast between the roughness of the main vamp, balanced by a gorgeous bridge, reminiscent of an arrangement by the late, great Roger Troutman.
