Angelo Moore, the lead singer of Fishbone, is Dr. Madd Vibe. Fishbone, based in Los Angeles, was one of the most distinctive and eclectic alternative rock bands of the late '80s, influencing groups like Living Color, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and No Doubt (Angelo is currently recording music with friend Gwen Stefani). with their hyperactive, self-conscious diversity, sense of humor and sharp social commentary, Fishbone gained a sizable cult following. Dr. Madd Vibe now comes at you in 2005 with an all new solo album that features his trademark high energy music. All of the music was written, produced, performed and arranged by the Doctor, who is currently touring across the U.S., Canada and Europe.
