Back when Wilco was a standard-issue roots-rock band, Loose Fur was where Jeff Tweedy indulged his experimental tendencies, alongside Chicago post-rocker Jim O'Rourke and drummer Glen Kotche. Wilco have since upped the weirdness quotient, but apparently Tweedy and pals still welcome the low-profile opportunity to wax all prog and non-commercial-like.
