L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness & Devotion) began as the backing band for Sam & Dave. Featuring lead vocals by Jeffrey Osborne, this album (originally released in '77) predates L.T.D.'s crossover success. Togetherness (which peaked at #3 on the Billboard R&B Album chart in 1978) contains the #1 R&B hit "Holding on (When Love Is Gone)" as well as the Top 20 R&B single "We Both Deserve Each Other's Love." Also included is the favorite "Concentrate on You," which was never released as a single.
