HULK SMASH is a two-piece band, a very loud two-piece band, and one of Philadelphia's best kept secrets. Using an 8-string bass, organ pedal board, midi controls, homemade electronic instruments, keyboards and drums, visually the duo can look like two separate one-man-bands. Tagged as electro-sludge, electro-punk and prog-doom the group has garnered comparisons to MELT BANANA, THE MELVINS and Amphetamine Reptile's (the label) glory days.
