ROOTs is the newest effort from Spain's legendary flamenco group, the Gipsy Kings. This album is an all acoustic recording, leaving the drum kit, synthesizer and electric bass behind, the band recorded in a countryside setting deep in the south of France. Ranging from exuberant rumbas, soulful fandangos and the relaxed virtuosity of some smokey instrumentals, with lead vocals shared for the first time among four members of the group.
