“Festering Earth” is the first album by the Johnstown, PA based Death metal band Funerus which was originally released in 2003. This version of Funerus includes John McEntee on guitar (also from Incantation) and Jill McEntee on vocals/bass, Kyle Severn on drums (also from Incantation/Acheron) and Brad Heiple on guitar (also from Abysme.) Funerus plays old school death metal in the vein of Asphyx, Bolt Thrower, Grave, Entombed and Carnage with the brutal sound of one of the heaviest female death metal vocalists in the underground.
