This Takoma release was made up of a variety of tracks recorded from 1962 to 1968, and as such has enjoyed a more modest critical estimation (including with Fahey himself) than it's counterparts on the label. But, in some ways, it's his most daring album, never more so than on the 19-minute title cut, which anticipates psychedelia with it's odd guitar tunings and lengthy improvisations.
