These Changing Skies is the follow-up to 2011's Break in the Clouds, which the Boulder Weekly declared, ''brims with poised Folk ballads, modern Celtic fiddle dirges, hints of Blues and Appalachia - coaxing the spirit but slyly avoiding climbing fully into each form's body.'' More recently, the band released a seven-song EP, It's Alive, which Marquee Magazine praised as, ''Truly spectacular!''
