Randy Breckner has been one of the most revered trumpeters, composers and arrangers on the jazz scene for over 30 years. 34th N. LEX is a nod to his New York neighborhood and the CD features Randy's quintet embellished by a veritable "Who's Who" horn section featuring his brother Michael Brecker on tenor sax, David Sanborn on alto sax and Ronnie Cuber on baritone sax. In addition, former James Brown/P-Funk trombonist, Fred Wesley, makes his presence felt as well as New York jazz/fusion guitar guru Adam Rogers who also turns in some impressive work.
