Spoon and Waterloo grew up together. Britt Daniel and Jim Eno started making records in Austin in 1993, and somewhere between Telephono and Lucifer on the Sofa they became the thing every scene hopes to produce: a hometown band that got huge without ever really leaving. The records were cut here, Jim's Public Hi-Fi studio is here, and when a new Spoon album drops, this store feels it like a holiday.

The support has always run both ways. They've played our floor, signed our stock, and sent a generation of fans through our doors — and we've been racking their records since before most of the world could pronounce "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga." We keep the catalog as deep as we can: the classics, the represses, the colored-vinyl editions, and a steady flow of used copies. If there's one section of the store that never collects dust, it's this one.
