Topdown, a five-piece melodic, post hardcore band, began in Austin, Texas in 2024 as a group of transplants from various coastal cities. The line up came together organically on social media while searching for like-minded individuals. Since then, Topdown has been growing its cohesive chemistry, and that has solidified the band with the next batch of songs. Drawing influence from ’90s and early-2000s emo, hardcore, and pop punk, their music is driven by muscular guitar riffs and unforgettable hooks. The Earth & All Its Pavement is the new release from Topdown.
