GOLD RUSH VINYL PRESENTS | THE WEARY BOYS Live at Waterloo: Friday, November 6th at 5:30pm

The Weary Boys' story starts back in ‘95 in Eureka, California. After hearing Hank Williams Sr. for the first time, something clicked. Small town kids, Brian Salvi, Mario Matteoli, and Darren Hoff started a band to try to capture that old sound. By 2000, Eureka felt too small for ambitious musicians. If they were ever gonna make it as pros, they knew they had to split town. Lifting the name Weary Boys off the back of a Hank CD, they lived up to it. Before long, they were packing the legendary Continental Club and took over Tuesday nights right after Toni Price's Hippie Hour, becoming the first band able to keep the crowd raging until 2 AM. They played the earliest ACL Fests and shared stages with legends like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Leon Russell. The story continues today. The Weary Boys' new full-length album, DARKHORSE, arrives November 6th, 2026.
