In 1985, with no demos but with a fanatical live following, Thrashing Doves infamously signed a two album recording contract with A\u0026amp;M Records. This followed a well-publicized bidding war amongst the major labels. This reissue brings together the band's first album for A\u0026amp;M plus related bonus tracks. The bonus tracks include all the b-sides - a live version of the Stones classic 'Sympathy for the Devil', 'The All Night Chemist', 'The Receiver' and 'Self Infliction Crew' and, of course, the 'Street Groove' re-mix of 'Je$u$ on the Payroll'. This was the track that proved to be so popular on the Balearic dance-floors of Europe and in the USA where it reached the Top 20 in the Billboard Dance Chart. As well as the original album version, this collection includes a brand new, previously unreleased recording of the song, 'Mission Creep (A New Je$u$ on the Payroll).
