Although the album was very romantic and sexy, there was the addition of some straight up Funk with the Minneapolis-inspired \"Time to Jam\". The vocals contained within Smoke City are interesting too; Bee Starr, the female lead, had a beautiful vocal tone while the male lead, Daveon Overton, offered a strong, gritty and energized delivery.
