The musical heritage of the area certainly was rich enough: folksinger Woody Guthrie, jazz trumpeter Chet Baker, and jazz fiddler Claude \"Fiddler\" Williams, plus songwriter J.J. Cale and Leon Russell's Shelter Studios.
