However, by the 70s he had honed his style and was working as a country singer, and in 1975 he earned a notable US C\u0026amp;W Top 20 hit with 'The Most Wanted Woman In Town'. Roy Head and the Traits held reunions in 2001 and 2007 and were inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2007. One of the most gifted performers of his era, Head's extraordinary dancing and acrobatic showmanship are legendary, often compared to the likes of Elvis Presley or James Brown. Head is a member of the Gulf Coast Music Hall of Fame, the Texas Country and Western Music Hall of Fame and the Austin Music Awards Hall of Fame. Head continues to be active in recording and performing music.
