This comeback album by Los Van Van is a statement in favor of Cuban traditions following the line of the singular Songo, the Afro-Cuban rhythm derived from the son and thus named by Juan Formell and the percussionist Changuito. Among the sound of violins and trumpets, and featuring compact structured but striking choruses, the orchestra, born in La Habana in 1969, release an album brimming with high quality sound and dynamism. La Fantasía features 14 songs including one, the title song, performed by Juan Formell himself before he passed away. He also wrote songs like \"Se Vende\", \"Es Mucho\" or \"El Aparecido\". In this great challenge for the band after the death of their founding member, Los Van Van also perform songs by prolific and popular Cuban songwriters, Roberto Hernández, Jorge Leliebre, Efraín Chibas Armando Cantero and Samuel Formell.
