Rick Sims (vocals\/guitar) and brother, Brad Sims (drums) recruited bassist Doug Evans to complete the three-piece. They recorded two albums before Touch and Go picked them up in 1988. By this time Rick Sims had transformed into the notorious frontman, Rick Didjit, whose on-stage antics were only as famous as his frequently hilarious wardrobe of unconventional suits.
