An original protagonist of the burgeoning disco movement of the mid to late 1970's, the gifted vocalist Carol Douglas quickly became one of the defining divas of the era, coming on strong with her first single - the sultry "Doctor's Orders," which rose to the #2 position on Billboard's disco chart in 1974. Douglas made her album debut in 1975 with The Carol Douglas Album followed in 1976 by Midnight Love Affair and in 1977 by Full Bloom. To prove she was no one-hit wonder, Douglas reached the coveted #1 slot on the Billboard disco chart with the single, "Midnight Love Affair," in 1976. Douglas soon became a favorite on the club scene and released two more solid albums (1978's "Burnin'" and 1979's "Come Into My Life") to end the decade. Presented here is an expanded and newly remastered edition of the disco diva's classic 1978 album, "Burnin'," which contains a whopping seven bonus tracks including the original 7" vinyl mixes of "Let You Come Into My Life," "Fell In Love For The First Time Today," and "Night Fever," plus the original 12" vinyl mixes of "Burnin'" and "Fell In Love For The First Time Today," plus a special megamix medley of the tracks "Fell In Love For The First Time Today"and "Burnin'."
