Hoyem became famous as the frontman of the alternative rock band Madrugada, but continued to develop himself after as a solo musician. With Moon Landing he set a clear difference between his own sound and that of his former band. In the well-crafted songs he adds unique and memorable vocal parts. This rock and psychedelic oriented album is a succession of highlights. From the nearly nine minute opening track 'Belorado' to the cover version of 'The House Of The Rising Sun'. Sivert Hoyem had his breakthrough as a singer with the rock band Madrugada in 1999. Madrugada won several Norwegian Grammy Awards and toured Norway and Europe until the band dissolved in 2008. Hoyem has released seven albums and several singles/EPs as a solo artist.
