Faith No More
Sol Invictus
$14.98  12.98
The music of Faith No More has lived through five presidents, endless wars, economic booms and busts, global meltdown and revolutionary rebirths. Throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, the hardedged group’s hybridized sound has scored the soundtrack to a time of change, and now in the 21st century, the legendary band has evolved once more to return with a powerful new album, Sol Invictus, and a new focus.

Hot Chip
Why Make Sense?
$13.98  11.98
With Why Make Sense?, Hot Chip restate their intentions as a band and redefine the very things that made them relevant in the first place. It shuns modernist dancefloor tropes in order to flick through the dusty corners of the band’s teenage record collections. Alternately jarring and chaotic, pared back, thundering, then pulsating and gloriously mellifluous, the album confidently displays its influences.

The Helio Sequence
The Helio Sequence
$13.98  11.98
The self-titled sixth album by The Helio Sequence began with a friendly competition. Several of the duo’s friends within the Portland, Oregon music scene had been playing “The 20-Song Game.” The rules were simple, playful and ambitious: Songwriters would arrive in their studios at prearranged times and spend all day recording 20 complete songs. When they were finished, they’d have a party, listen to the results and talk about the process of simply making music in the moment.

The Milk Carton Kids
Monterey
$17.98  14.98
With their third album Monterey, The Milk Carton Kids have evolved their signature sound into its purest essence. Writing on the road, sitting around after shows in green rooms and hallways, these duo found themselves finishing and editing each other s songs, resulting in a batch of songs where, for the first time in the band s career, friends and family cannot tell who wrote what. And for all the attention the duo received for combining into one voice, on Monterey we finally hear the singers as distinct; the acclaimed harmonies move farther apart so that the quirks and kinks of two individual identities emerge, the harmonies all the while remaining lush and soaring, their beauty all the more apparent for the showing of their scars.

Holly Herndon
Platform
$14.98  12.98
Holly Herndon has become a leading light in contemporary alternative and electronic music by fearlessly experimenting within the outer reaches of dance music and pop songwriting structures. A galvanizing statement, Platform cements Herndon’s reputation as a unique musician with a singular voice. Born in Tennessee, but reared on music abroad, Herndon broke out from her formative years in Berlin’s minimal techno scene to repatriate to San Francisco, where she currently lives and studies as a doctoral candidate at Stanford’s Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Herndon’s debut album Movement, released in 2012, showcased Herndon’s fascination with trance and the disjunctive sampling techniques pioneered by avant-garde composition. Offering what Herndon describes as “a rupture, a paradisic gesture”, Platform is an optimistic breakthrough for Herndon, an appeal for progress, and a step toward new ways to love.

Du Blonde
Welcome Back To Milk
$14.98  12.98
Du Blonde is the artistic reincarnation of the artist, Beth Jeans Houghton, and Welcome Back To Milk is the first album to be released as Du Blonde. Whilst her 2012 album Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose was a standalone piece of polymath pop, 25-year-old Houghton, has constantly evolved and reinvented herself – a musical and aesthetic chameleon always playing by her own rules. Much of the forthcoming album, including the first single, "Black Flag" was produced by Bad Seed and Grinderman member Jim Sclavunos, whose previous production credits include The Jim Jones Revue and The Horrors.

Coal Chamber
Rivals
$13.98  11.98
U.S. nu-metal legends Coal Chamber took a hefty 13-year break but before they went on hiatus, they thrilled thousands of fans worldwide with the wickedest of all grooves that churned out 90s anthems like Loco and Big truck . Frontman Dez Fafara went on to reach superstardom with DevilDriver, but there`s nothing like old love: Rivals is Coal Chamber`s fourth album and has been produced by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, DevilDriver). Behold: the trademarks of the band encounter exciting and mature songwriting; all adding up to one furious comeback!

Fool's Gold
Flying Lessons
$12.98  11.98
Flying Lessons is the follow-up album to 2011’s Leave No Trace, which saw a multitude of positive reviews from sources such as Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, SPIN, and NPR. Fool’s Gold has spent much of the past few years on the road, including appearances at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, and ACL Fest, and highlighted by a 2012 supporting stint with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in arenas across the UK as well as in Tel Aviv for one of the largest concerts in Israel’s history. In 2013, the band eased out of a long, demanding tour schedule to focus on writing new material. With five years of experience behind them, this was the perfect opportunity to further refine the band’s identity and songwriting.

Foreverlin
Still After
$11.98  10.98
Wyoming based Christian Alternative Rock band Foreverlin formed in 2012. Since that time, they have released two recording projects including an EP and a full length entitled “Long Lost”. The title track from the album gave the band their first national radio single, which charted on the Billboard charts for five weeks. Pando Records will release the bands forthcoming album titled “Still After” on May 19th both physically and digitally. Still After features eleven handcrafted, heartfelt songs that pushed the band not only musically, but also spiritually. Foreverlin’s influences include Copeland, Thrice, Snow Patrol and As Cities Burn, though the band is most often compared to Switchfoot.

Christian Lopez Band
Onward
$12.98  11.98
Hailing from rural West Virginia, Christian Lopez is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter and musician, blessed with the soul of an Appalachian mountain bluegrass musician fifty years his senior. On his full-length debut album, Onward, the young artist emulates the sound produced by the region’s resident pickers and strummers, impressively melding his influences into something modern and indefinably his own.

Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds
The Weather Below
$12.98  11.98
The Catskill Mountains hid rock n’ roll’s best kept secret for almost 18 years. Then in 2008, singer and songwriter Arleigh Kincheloe said goodbye to her hometown hideaway and moved to New York City to start Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds. In the years since, the group has performed more than 600 shows, released two full-length albums and an EP produced by Randy Jackson (American Idol), and enchanted tastemakers ranging from The Wall Street Journal and LA Times to Glamour, USA Today, and The New Yorker. They have shared the stage with such heavyweights as Gov’t Mule, Dr. John, Trombone Shorty, The Avett Brothers, Counting Crows, and Galactic, and have turned audiences into believers through appearances on the festival circuit at Bonnaroo, Firefly, Hardly Stricktly Bluegrass, Voodoo Music Experience and many more.

Darrell Scott
Ten
$13.98  11.98
In the last 3 months of Ben’s life I started sending iPhone recordings of me singing a song of his – the first iphone recording, “I’ve Gotta Leave You Now,” closes this album – this recording is what Ben heard – he loved it.. (what I wanted was for Ben to hear his songs coming toward him rather than only from him – for a writer, it is an important perspective: to hear songs with 1 degree of separation – like you’re hearing someone else’s songs.)

Bhi Bhiman
Rhythm & Reason
$12.98  11.98
Bhi Bhiman is an American singer/songwriter. His music has drawn a wide range of comparisons from Rodriguez and Woody Guthrie to Nina Simone and Bill Withers. Bhiman credits his upbringing – the son of Sri Lankan immigrants, growing up in St. Louis, MO – for his diverse s ound. An accomplished guitarist and clever lyricist, it is Bhiman’s striking voice that tryly sets him apart.

Circuit Des Yeux
In Plain Speech
$16.98  13.98
Haley Fohr s music strikes a unique balance between the personal and universal. As Circuit des Yeux she creates music that embodies the complexity of human emotions, juxtaposing tenderness and grief, ecstasy and horror, using sounds as representations of the emotional spectrum that we all experience. Fohr s striking voice, an impassioned baritone, is the music s centerpiece and guiding force. On In Plain Speech, Fohr is joined by some of the most progressive musicians in the Chicago music community; Cooper Crain (Cave, Bitchin Bajas), Whitney Johnson (Verma), Rob Frye (Bitchin Bajas), Adam Luksetich (Little Scream), and Kathleen Baird (Spires That In The Sunset Rise). Fohr cements her reputation as a fearless songwriter and inventive arranger with this stirring collection of songs that are both gorgeous and emotionally potent.

Dommengang
Everybody's Boogie
$16.98  13.98
Dommengang s music is expansive and driving. The band s songs are propelled by a killer rhythm section and fronted by Sig Wilson, a mainstay of the Pacific Northwest psych scene. He is joined by Brian Markham and Adam Bulgasem, themselves life-long musicians and connected to the DIY scenes on the West and East coasts. While the trio s affection for electric blues and proto-punk bombast is clear, their music abandons traditional song structures and replaces their recognizable tropes with progressive frameworks. The band s debut, Everybody s Boogie pivots between gloriously inventive riffs and fuzzed-out experimentation, a combination so potent that the listener hardly notices that they rarely sing. Wilson has often taken the role of collaborator in bands such as Holy Sons, Castanets, and Scout Niblett, and his experience and skill are on full display on his first record as a leader.

Tanlines
Highlights
$14.98  12.98
Highlights, the band’s first collection of new material since their critically-lauded debut, Mixed Emotions, in 2012, began in a basement in Pittsburgh and ended in a church in Brooklyn. It trades world music sounds for a more alive, realized approach, the result of Emm and Cohen knowing they wanted to break from their ‘two guys, one screen’ writing style. Influenced by their time spent on the road touring Mixed Emotions, primarily in the States, they reached for the sounds of 90’s New York hip-hop drums, Detroit techno synths, and lots and lots of guitars.

Victorian Halls
Hyperalgesia
$13.98  11.98
Meet the highlight of your Summer playlist. After meticulously composing and developing new material, Chicago’s Victorian Halls acquired the mixing talents of Joe Chiccarelli (Beck, The Strokes, U2) to emerge with their sophomore full-length album. The end result is Hyperalgesia, a gritty rock and hook-soaked pop album emphasized by their unique, high-strung theatrical sound. Their debut release, Charlatan, piqued the curiosity of critics and brought dozens of featured placements in films, TV and video games from Ubisoft, MTV, USA, TeenNick, Nascar and SyFy. More elegant than its predecessor, Hyperalgesia bursts forward with clever and contagious anthems. Vibrant synth and illustrious electronic elements included on Hyperalgeisa accentuate Victorian Halls’ ability to create poignant and catchy songs. Hyperalgesia signifies a promising and progressive step forward for Victorian Halls.

Shamir is Shamir Bailey, a 20-year-old Las Vegas native who grew up not on the strip but in the desert. His verve for life makes him almost impossible to categorize. As a young musician, he moves in and out of soul, r&b, house, disco, rap, and pop – in the tradition of artists like Prince, Grace Jones, David Bowie, and Madonna. Genre is a tool for Shamir, not a boundary. Or as Shamir would put it, “It doesn’t matter what you sound like – you just have to be you.”

The story of 1000 Palms began on January 1st 2014, after playing a New Year's show in Portland, OR. The band decided to stick around for the rest of the month, renting a practice space and sorting through a backlog of ideas. By February, as their lease ran out, Surfer Blood had recorded demos for most of the tracks that are now featured on their third LP.

Juan Wauters
Who Me?
$14.98  12.98
Who Me? is the next chapter in the ongoing story of Juan Wauters. Whereas his debut solo record was recorded casually over the course of one year, his new album was crafted in under two weeks at Future Apple Tree in Rock Island, Illinois. Inspired by both the arrangements of Uruguayan songwriter Jaime Roos and the production of American master Dr. Dre, this collection of songs presents his continued approach to existential questioning through pop music.

Patrick Watson
Love Songs For Robots
$13.98  11.98
Love Songs For Robots is the highly anticipated fifth record from Patrick Watson. The new album is the follow up to Watson’s 2012 release Adventures In Your Own Backyard, which received widespread critical acclaim. The ambitious, evocative new music was recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and Pierre Marchand Studio in Montreal. It’s a work of fragile beauty, offering dramatic flourishes and subtle, atmospheric tension ultimately anchored by Watson’s singularly stunning voice.

Danny Elfman
Beetlejuice [Vinyl Soundtrack]
$24.98  22.48
Danny Elfman provides one of his most quintessentially Elfman-esque scores for one of Tim Burton's most quintessentially Burton-esque movies, Beetlejuice. The film's dark yet sardonically funny "Main Titles" is among Elfman's all-time best moments, bustling along with a dark joie de vivre or is it joie de morte? that defines the spooky fun of both this movie, and his collaboration with Burton.

Icky Blossoms
Mask
$13.98  11.98
Three years on from their Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio) produced debut, Icky Blossoms’ singular brand of mesmerizingly contradictory dance music has evolved. Blending avant-garde elements with catchy and danceable pop, threaded within dark, bass-heavy atmospheres, their songs nod to great music of the past, whilst firmly propelling them into the future. For the new album Icky Blossoms continue with their study of synthesizers and drum machines, finding new focus by exploring the space between their background in basement rock shows and their new-found fluency in electronic music.

Della Mae
Della Mae
$15.98  13.98
The follow-up to their GRAMMY-nominated 2013 album, This World Oft Can Be, Della Mae's self-titled second release for Rounder finds the all-female combo delivering eleven compelling new tunes that embody the musical and emotional qualities of the group's prior output while venturing into uncharted creative territory.

Jad Fair & Norman Blake
Yes
$12.98  11.98
Two legends, together again. Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake and Half Japanese's Jad Fair have teamed up to bring you their new magnum opus, "Yes". Encompassing all the songwriting eccentricities that have made these guys famous, this new collaborative album also features some of the most genteel, engagingly catchy, and downright adorable music in recent memory. Norman Blake and Jad Fair originally collaborated over a decade ago on the Teenage Fanclub and Jad Fair album "Words of Wisdom and Hope" (Domino/Alternative Tentacles). Unlike the simple, aggressive style of Half Japanese, the 13 new tracks on "Yes" feature refined, guitar-laden power pop and saccharin-sweet melodies, accompanied by backup singers and layered horn arrangements. Fair's characteristically-manic vocal style is still present, but when coupled with the head-bopping, articulately-layered arrangements of Norman Blake, the result is a potently earnest album that is brimming with positivity.

Civil War

$14.98  12.98

Gods And Generals features galloping heavy metal riffs that melt into epically sweeping melody lines, which serve as an opus magnum filled to the brim with anthems. Get ready for the pure dose of Swedisch Heavy Metal & CIVIL WAR in 2015!

Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell
The Traveling Kind
$18.98  15.98
The Traveling Kind follows the longtime friends' first duet album, 2013's Old Yellow Moon, which won Best Americana Album at the 56th annual Grammy Awards as well as two awards at the 2013 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards Show, for Album of the Year and Duo/Group of the Year. The album also debuted at #4 on the Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

Tyondai Braxton
HIVE1
$13.98  11.98
Written and recorded throughout 2013 and 2014, HIVE1 marks a new direction for Tyondai Braxton: his first album in six years, since 2009's Central Market, and his first recording for Nonesuch, where he joins formative influences such as Morton Subotnick and John Adams. Most significantly--after having several of his large-scale orchestral works performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Sinfonietta, and Wordless Music Orchestra--HIVE1 is the composer's first fully realized work of purely electronic music since his earlier loop-based music in the early 2000s, and an unmistakable swerve away from Braxton's signature materials and musical concerns to date.

Imbue
$12.98  11.98
The Early November have returned with their highly anticipated new full-length album, "Imbue." The band reunited back in 2012 and released their first album in six years. While that release revitalized the band in the eyes and ears of both critics and fans alike, they haven't sounded truly "back" until their latest effort. "Imbue" is a total return to form.

Elvis Depressedly
New Alhambra
$9.98
In many ways, new alhambra is an auditory homage to what has shaped lead singer Mathew Lee Cothran’s life. Its title, as any hardcore pro-wrestling fan will recognize, credits the Philadelphia arena that birthed its most legendary and extreme version of it, and the use of samples from wrestling shows serve as a reference to his upbringing. The album was characteristically made with outdated equipment and limited by only one microphone, with Mike "Dr. Vink" Roberts playing an essential role on bass that enrichens the rockier resonations in comparison to elvis depressedly’s previous releases. Cothran and Delaney were constantly on the move during the recording process thanks to their new found career freedom, but none of it takes away from new alhambra fully texturized shift toward brightly melancholic noise-pop inspired by Cothran’s favorite unsung heroes such as Waterboys, Prefab Sprout and Emperor X, and in more conventional instances, Elliott Smith and Mac DeMarco.

The Holydrug Couple
Moonlust
$14.98  12.98
The Holydrug Couple began in Santiago, Chile in 2008, a little over a half-decade after Ives and Manu met for the first time. The two young friends hadn t seen each other in a few years when Manu texted Ives to tell him that he bought a drum kit. They started jamming, and a week later, the band was formed. A flurry of songwriting activity followed, culminating in 2011 s Ancient Land EP and 2013 s Noctuary, both released on Sacred Bones. Moonlust boldly treads territory that those earlier psych-indebted recordings only hinted at, especially the dreamy French movie soundtracks of the 70s and 80s and the discography of Serge Gainsbourg.

Blanck Mass
Dumb Flesh
$14.98  12.98
Benjamin John Power’s newest solo offering as Blanck Mass, Dumb Flesh, was written, produced and recorded in a number of different locations over the space of a year. It began life in Fuck Buttons’ ‘Space Mountain’ studio, moved into a windowless attic space in Hatch End, North London, then was finished up at Ben’s new home in Edinburgh. The geographical spread of the sessions is reflected in the shifting landscapes of the tracks and the ever-changing sound-palette used to realize Dumb Flesh as an expansive body of work. As a work of art, Dumb Flesh is a comment on the flaws of the human form in its current evolutionary state. The frailty of the human body naturally became a resonant and inescapable part of the album's gestation.

Leonard Cohen
Can't Forget: A Souvenir Of The Grand Tour
$11.96  10.96
The ten songs of this hypnotic album are Cohen rarities recorded on his recent, celebrated "Old Ideas World Tour." The songs on Can't Forget have the immediacy, spontaneity, and thrilling intimacy of the best studio recordings made in the white heat of live performance and Cohen's legendary soundchecks, in which he brings the colors of his virtuoso band to full bloom in harmony with his voice, never more seductive.

Steve ‘n’ Seagulls

$13.98  11.98
The multi-platinum Oklahoma City hard rockers Joe "Blower" Garvey, Mark King, Mike Rodden, and Cody Hanson entered the studio with their new singer as of 2013, Nolan Neal, in the spring to record a brand new effort that was co-produced by Hanson and Marshal Dutton. There are no boundaries, and every idea was fair game throughout the process. Hanson says, "We like to think we can do anything. We don't want to be stuck in a rut with one type of sound or formula. One song might have a country influence, while another might have a pop influence.

Chappo
Future Former Self
$8.98
CHAPPO was born in the East Village of New York in 2009 and in a few short years has created an enthusiastic and rambunctious following. Splitting the difference between the guitar driven psychedelia of 60 s west coast rock and the spiritual witch doctor moonshine of Dr. John, they regularly turn their live show into nothing short of spectacle. CHAPPO will be releasing their second LP, Future Former Self, on Votiv Music, set to release Spring of 2015.

Landscape Dream is Abram Shook’s follow up to 2014's Sun Marquee, an album VICE called "…pleasant as fuck." and Texas Monthly called "…compelling, weird, and lovely." Applying what he learned through writing and recording Sun Marquee, Landscape Dream is a natural progression, demonstrating how much Shook's songwriting and production acumen has sharpened over the past year. Sun Marquee was a learning process where songs were often forced out of experiments in recording techniques.

The Shape of Brat Pop to Come
$11.98  10.98
Los Angeles brat-pop band, HOLYCHILD debut full-length album, The Shape of Brat Pop to Come, is out June 2nd via Glassnote Records. Their debut album features single, Running Behind. HOLYCHILD is comprised of Liz Nistico and Louie Diller. They met in college in 2011, have been writing music ever since and call their genre, brat pop. On their debut album The Shape Of Brat Pop to Come, HOLYCHILD takes on nothing less than the idea of power dynamics and inequality be it racial, social status, or gender-motivated. The beats are wild (thanks in no small part to Diller s stint in Cuba studying Afro-Cuban drumming), and the tongues are placed firmly in cheek. Nistico assures that while their message is clear, it s not definitive. After all, we re all humans, right? At the end of the day HOLYCHILD is about posing questions not providing answers.

Upon his return, Holden began to write the songs that appear on Chase The Sun, including the first single, “Hold On Tight,” which he says was the driving force for the album.

The band's fourth full-length overall, Desolation Sounds continues their journey into weirder, esoteric territory that stretches the genre's boundaries and yet retains mammoth rock power.

Darling Arithmetic is the third album from Villagers’ Conor O’ Brien. His 2010 debut Becoming A Jackal and {Awayland} his 2013 release – both Mercury Prize-nominated, while the latter won Ireland’s Choice Prize – were detailed, multi-faceted affairs, so Darling Arithmetic is a brave and committed new step forward. O’Brien plays every instrument on these exquisite, melodic songs in a beautifully sparse, spacious, intimate, acoustic-leaning fashion, as well as recording and mixing it himself at home, revealing a single-minded artist at the peak of his already considerable songwriting powers.

Pale Blue
The Past We Leave Behind
$14.98  12.98
Musically, Pale Blue is a response to modern dance music and its constant fluctuations. It intentionally bears no obvious singles, nor club hits. While Simonetti, Wight and Jana Hunter (vocals on Dusk in Parts ) remain at its core, Pale Blue s philosophy is to keep everything open to collaboration. It does not aim to pigeonhole itself into a genre or any new vistas in music, but instead to a unifying sound produced collectively and harmoniously.

Dinner
Three EPs, 2012-2014
$14.98  12.98

This Fall, in collaboration with Texas label Red Eye Transit, we will be releasing his latest effort Oui!, a four-track EP that serves as a powerful introduction to this idiosyncratic musician. Dinner s songs seem to be inspired by his own life in the lyrics you find references to cities, parties and girls (the latter sometimes referred to as the divine feminine ). Dinner himself claims that All the songs are about death and transcendence.

Pfarmers is the new project from Danny Seim (Menomena, Lackthereof), Bryan Devendorf (The National), and Dave Nelson (David Byrne & St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens). According to Seim, "The record is about a dream I had where I'm reluctantly accepting a fear of drowning by focusing on being reincarnated as a giant Gunnera plant, which thrive on the banks of rivers (specifically the Jordan River i.e. the Biblical promised land) after I paint myself gold and sink to the bottom like the El Dorado of South American folklore."

Suuns And Jerusalem In My Heart
Suuns and Jerusalem In My Heart
$14.98  12.98
Beginning in November 2012 Suuns (Ben Shemie, Liam O'Neil, Max Henry and Joseph Yarmush) and long time friend, Radwan Ghazi Moumneh rented a studio in Montreal for seven days. The idea was to collaborate on rough sketches of song ideas and to complete as much recording as possible without discrimination. The session was successful, yielding many vibe-laden songs featuring heavy analog synths, Arabic influences and electronic sensibilities.

Ava Luna
Infinite House
$11.98  10.98
While on a writing retreat in the sleepy southern town of Benton, Mississippi, the members of New York's Ava Luna came across an abandoned house while on a walk through the woods. Overgrown, rotting, and littered with evidence of its past inhabitants, the maze-like dwelling would haunt their psyches throughout the writing and recording of their third full-length Infinite House. Like Borges' "Library of Babel", the seemingly endless rooms and hallways in the old house felt like a metaphor for the invisible, internal labyrinths, which the band explores lyrically and sonically on their new album.

Tal National
Zoy Zoy
$14.98  12.98
When the NY Times placed Tal National's Kaani on their year-end Top 10 list, the Culture Minister of Niger organized a televised ceremony to honor the band. But it didn't stop there. The Guardian, The Independent, Mojo, Vice, The Wire, The Financial Times, Chicago Reader and others all sang exuberant praises. NPR, KEXP and WBEZ hosted live sessions. What they all recognized was the band's entirely new approach to West African music - that Tal National is a rock band.

Mostly recorded live off the floor, there is a deep sense of loss, and longing in Secret Life. Moon King channel desperation and project it outwards, each song carrying with it both a weight and a sense of urgency.

Big Eyes
$34.98  31.48
From the Academy Award® winning team that brought you Ed Woods, Big Eyes focuses on the artistic coupling of Margaret (Amy Adams) and Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz). Walter Keane became a worldwide celebrity and talk show fixture in the 1950s after he pioneered the mass production of prints of big-eyed kids, and used his marketing savvy to sell them cheaply in hardware stores and gas stations across the country. Unfortunately, he claimed to be the artist. That role was played by Margaret, his shy wife. She generated the paintings from their basement and Walter’s contribution was adding his signature to the bottom. The ruse broke up their marriage and led to a divorce and a dramatic courtroom battle to prove authorship of the paintings.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Multi-Love
$14.98  12.98
The threads of our past never unravel, they hover like invisible webs, occasionally glistening due to a sly angle of the sun. On Multi-Love, Unknown Mortal Orchestra frontman and multi-instrumentalist Ruban Nielson reflects on relationships: airy, humid longing, loss, the geometry of desire that occurs when three people align. Where Nielson addressed the pain of being alone on II, Multi-Love takes on the complications of being together. Multi-Love adds dimensions to the band's already kaleidoscopic approach, with Nielson exploring a newfound appreciation for synthesizers. The new songs channel the spirit of psych innovators without ignoring the last 40 years of music, forming a flowing, cohesive whole that reflects restless creativity.

10 Years
From Birth To Burial
$14.98  12.98
There are few noises as powerful as the sound of confidence. After a decade of trials and tribulations, hit singles and music industry politics, 10 years have emerged stranger than ever, freed by their own independence (both creatively and professionally), with a hard rock sound as steadfastly resilient as the salt-of-the-Earth fans relentlessly packing clubs to see them play. A 10 Years album is a celebration of strength through adversity.

John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Live In '67
$15.98  13.98
In 1967, before there was a Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood were John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. The four musicians were only together for three months, which makes it even more remarkable that a staunch fan from Holland was able to sneak a one channel reel to reel tape recorder into five London clubs and capture this exciting glimpse into music history. For almost fifty years these tapes have remained unheard until John recently got them and began restoring them with the technical assistance of Eric Corne of Forty Below Records. Corne adds ''While the source recording was very rough and the final result is certainly not hi-fidelity, it does succeed in allowing us to hear how spectacular these performances are.''

Mavis Staples
Your Good Fortune EP
$5.98
In conjunction with the new career documentary film Mavis! which premieres at SXSW Film this spring, ANTI- is pleased to announce a unique collaboration between two generations of ANTI artists. For the recording of the EP Your Good Fortune, gospel and soul legend Mavis Staples went into the studio with new ANTI singer-songwriter-producer Son Little, recording two new Son Little original songs, and two vivid reworkings of Staple Singers classics. To hear Mavis’ clarion voice bedded in Son Little’s ancient/modern swirl of swamp guitar and b-boy programming is to discover the knife edge of Mavis Staples’ art.

Squarepusher
Damogen Furies
$15.98  13.98
Damogen Furies, his first full-length since 2012's Ufabulum, sees Squarepusher's powers in full flow. The techniques and craftsmanship that he has honed over the course of his career have become some of his signal qualities. He has spent the last decade creating and refining his own unique software system, and this album is the first to be made using that system exclusively. It is the culmination of years spent experimenting with and hacking hardware and software, having long since abandoned the limitations of out-of-the-box offerings. Squarepusher has remained truly experimental in part because he has rejected those limitations, choosing instead a compositional process that places the act of building instruments at its heart. On Damogen Furies we hear a truthful, unembellished representation of how those instruments sound. All of the recordings here were made in one take, with no edits.

BoDeans
I Can't Stop
$15.98  13.98

Johnny Winter
Live From Japan
$16.99  13.99
Johnny Winter has done and seen just about everything. One thing he had yet to do was play in Japan. This is one of the few places that his touring hadn't taken him, until now. This show was recorded on April 15, 2011, the third night of three sold out shows, at the famed Zepp Tokyo Music Hall in the heart of the world's largest city. The songs Johnny played during his stellar set are soaked with more blues riffs in this one night than most guitar players can match in their career. If you listen closely you can hear the likes of Robert Johnson, BB King, T-Bone Walker, Chuck Berry, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix and even The Beatles.

Gruesome
Savage Land
$13.98  11.98
Gruesome’s debut “Savage Land” is an intentional homage to the first wave death metal scene of Tampa, Florida, specifically Death’s early period. Gruesome is much more than a tribute band though. Led by Matt Harvey (of Exhumed, Matt was the vocalist and guitarist on the original Death To All tour) and rounded out by a band compromised of current and former members of Possessed, Malevolent Creation and Derketa, Gruesome sound like they were plucked right out of 1988. This is an absolutely top notch filthy slab of old school death metal, played by some of the scene’s most legit players.

Speedy Ortiz
Foil Deer
$13.98  11.98
Foil Deer is the sophomore album from Massachusetts Speedy Ortiz. "I'm not bossy, I'm the boss," Sadie Dupuis sings on first single "Raising the Skate," invoking in spirit one half of the Carter-Knowles clan and echoing the other's wordplay. And wordplay makes sense, considering Dupuis the band's songwriter, guitarist, and frontwoman spent the band's first few years teaching writing at UMass Amherst. She's drawn to the dense complexity of Pynchon, the dreamlike geometry of Bolaño, the confounded yearning of Plath all attributes you could easily apply to the band's 2013 debut Major Arcana, which fans and press alike have invested with a sense of purpose and merit uncommon in contemporary guitar rock.

Deez Nuts
Word Is Bond
$15.98  13.98
Word is Bond showcases frontman JJ Peters at his most real. It’s a short, sharp shock of pure honesty delivered in inimitable old-school style, and shouts loud and proud that Peters, guitarist Matt ‘RealBad’ Rogers, bassist Sean Kennedy and drummer Alex Salinger are here to stay. Since their inception, Deez Nuts have been a band everyone in the hardcore scene has had an opinion on, positive or negative. They – like Peters himself – were seen as caricatures, but Word is Bond shows the truth beneath the surface. But don’t get mistaken; this is no self-indulgent opera of dull introspection; instead, this is reality rendered in tones as hard as punk can get.

Gift Giver
Shitlife
$11.98  10.98

Tribulation
The Children Of The Night
$15.98  13.98
In the clock of darkness, Tribulation go bump. In the breath of night, they whisper secrets centuries forgotten. Tribulation are more than music. They are a warped old photograph, a painting from eyes that have seen too much, a vista that forces the strongest of constitutions to question. Tribulation might just be the best death metal band on the planet. They are the art resolute. The Children of the Night is the Swedes’ boldest vision yet, resplendent in its expanse and measured in its restraint. Tribulation celebrate the valor of the present and emmerate the spells that will whisk them into the future on The Children of the Night. Join them in death, life, and beyond!

Jimbo Mathus
Blue Healer
$13.98  11.98
No one back home in Mississippi was really that surprised when, one night, they saw Jimbo appear in a monkey mask on national television. Friends and family weren’t shocked to see him leaping like a madman possessed, throwing $100 dollar bills at David Letterman on Late Night. This was in 1998, the dregs of the 20th century. Jimbo was performing with his bizarre brainchild, Squirrel Nut Zippers who, quite accidentally, became America’s darlings and were riding high on a runaway hit single “Hell.”

Ringling Road
$12.98  11.98

Give Green a pen and paper and he is a lyrical force to be reckoned with. 'Songwriting is reality. People are scared to put reality on paper, but this is 10 times more reality than my past work,' he explains bluntly. The past few years have been consumed with Green touring heavily in the booming Texas scene and persistently writing a plethora of songs that are pulled from true to life experiences. Green has adamantly pushed his boundaries as a writer revealing, 'Songwriting is exactly what is in your heart, in my opinion, it is not about writing a hit. It is about revealing your heart and your feelings on the paper.' While attending college at Texas Tech University, Green played for a live audience whenever he could and steadily gained notoriety on the Texas music scene. He credits the Blue Light in Lubbock as his unofficial home, where he spent many nights honing on his craft and gaining a loyal army of followers.

Slug
Ripe
$14.98  12.98
SLUG is a brand new musical venture from the mind of Ian 'Blackie' Black a merrily disruptive influence on the North East music for more than a decade. The debut album 'Ripe' was co-produced with Peter and David Brewis of Field Music at their studio in Sunderland, with the brothers adding occasional drums, synths and percussion to Ian's elaborate home-brewed constructions. Ian appears to have consumed and spat out film music (proggy Italian horror, Lynchian twanging), Erik Satie, Zeppelin-esque knotty riffing, snippets of synth-heavy disco, post-punk's more dub-centric excursions and even a smattering of Hall & Oates' new wave blue-eyed soul. The vocals vary from high and sweet four-part harmonies to sinister whispers to a spiteful rasp which wouldn't seem out of place on a particularly grumpy Roger Waters demo. It also manages to be very funny, partly due to the surreal, imagistic lyrics and partly from the unexpected moments of musical audacity.

The album is produced by the band and mixed by Joe Barresi (Slipknot QOTSA, Soundgarden etc). To reinvent them selves they got back to old demos from -94 when they first started the band and through that got in contact with the feeling and the vibe that inspired them in the first place. That same philosophy goes for the whole album - how they approached the recordings, artwork, the production and mix of the album. So this is nothing less than Hardcore Superstar coming full circle by showing the fans where they come from and what they still believe in!
